Terms & Conditions

1. PURPOSE
These Terms & Conditions govern all photography services provided by Paris Media, including but not limited to: photo sessions, access to digital galleries, image editing, and styling services.
By booking a service, the client accepts these Terms & Conditions in full.

2. BOOKING & PAYMENT
Sessions are booked via secure payment link.
A booking fee is required to confirm a date, amount varies depending on packages and options. This fee covers initial preparations and reserves the time slot exclusively for the client.
Final delivery will only occur once full payment has been received. Late payments may incur additional fees and suspend all delivery rights.
Any additional services (extra retouching, editing, high-resolution files, extended coverage, etc.) are billed separately.
Travel fees may apply outside Paris city limits.
All displayed prices are subject to a 5% processing fee for online and card payments. All processing or administrative fees are non-refundable under any circumstances.
Paris Media reserves the right to refuse, suspend, or cancel any booking if there is any reasonable suspicion of fraud, abusive behaviour, repeated cancellations, unauthorised commercial use of our work, or if the client’s behaviour suggests competitive interference or bad faith, or if deemed necessary

3. DELIVERY & SERVICE STRUCTURE
The service consists of two stages: the first stage includes the photo session and the provision of a private online preview gallery for image selection. This gallery is for selection purposes only and may include a certain number of low-resolution files chosen at the sole discretion of Paris Media and limited to 1 each 30min of shooting. Low-resolution images are delivered at 640 pixels maximum on the long edge.
The second stage consists of the delivery of high-resolution color graded images, in the signature Paris Media style, once selections are confirmed and all balances are settled.
The online preview gallery (unedited) is typically delivered within 1 week. Edited images are generally delivered within 4 weeks from the client’s selection date.
Delivery times are indicative and may vary significantly depending on workload and season.
RAW files are never provided.
Unedited high-resolution JPEGs can be purchased as an add-on (€200 per shooting hour and/or locations covered decided by Paris Media).
All deliveries are made digitally.
Clients may not crop, alter, or apply filters to the images without written consent from Paris Media.

4. RETOUCHING & IMAGE EDITING
All image editing performed consists exclusively of color grading and global adjustments in our signature style.
No revisions to the original images are included as standard.
Requests for additional modifications — including but not limited to body reshaping, skin work, or object removal — may be considered at our sole discretion and will be subject to additional fees.
Any additional retouching work will only be carried out once a written quote has been provided, accepted and paid by the client, specifying both cost and delivery time.
Paris Media reserves the right to decline any requests deemed unrealistic, excessive, or incompatible with the artistic vision.

5. SHOOTING CONDITIONS & FINAL RESULT
The visual outcome of a session depends on multiple factors outside our control, including but not limited to weather, natural light, location conditions, and seasonal variations.
As a result, images may differ from those seen in our portfolio, which were created under specific circumstances.
Variations in lighting, colors, or atmosphere cannot be considered defects and do not constitute grounds for refund or re-shoot.

6. CANCELLATION & RESCHEDULING
Cancellations made more than 14 days before the scheduled date are refunded (minus processing fees).
Cancellations made less than 14 days before the shoot are non-refundable.
Rescheduling is possible free of charge up to 14 days before the shoot.
In case of force majeure (strikes, extreme weather, etc.), Paris Media may offer a new date.
No refund or partial credit will be issued for reduced participation, late arrivals, or missed elements on the day of the shoot.

7. CLIENT RESPONSIBILITY FOR APPEARANCE
Clients are solely responsible for their personal preparation, including wardrobe, makeup, and hair.
Dissatisfaction with personal appearance will not be considered grounds for reshooting or refund.

8. IMAGE RIGHTS & USAGE
Paris Media retains full copyright ownership of all images.
The client is granted a non-transferable, non-exclusive licence for private use only.
Commercial or public use (advertising, partnerships, media publications, etc.) requires a separate commercial licence and written agreement.
Unless the client specifically opts out in writing, Paris Media may use selected images for promotional purposes, including website portfolio, printed material, and social media.
Any unauthorised reproduction, resale, or commercial exploitation of the images is strictly prohibited.

9. LIABILITY
Paris Media cannot be held liable for cancellations or delays caused by circumstances beyond its control.
Paris Media is not responsible for any visual imperfections resulting from items or services provided by the client or third parties, including but not limited to makeup, wardrobe, or accessories.
The client is responsible for their personal belongings and conduct during the session. Any damage to equipment or property caused by the client may result in repair or replacement charges.

10. ARCHIVING & FILE RECOVERY
Image files are stored for a limited period after delivery (up to 2 months) and will be deleted thereafter without notice. Paris Media does not guarantee indefinite storage of image files beyond delivery.
Once a gallery has expired, recovery of images is subject to a €100 recovery fee and is not guaranteed, as it is only possible if files are still available in our archives.
Clients are responsible for securing their own backups after delivery.

11. NO REFUND AFTER EDITING PAYMENT
The client expressly agrees that the right of withdrawal does not apply once editing work has been paid for, due to the personalized and digital nature of the service.
Once unedited and edited images have been delivered, they are considered fully accepted by the client.
Due to the digital nature of the product, no refunds or re-edits will be granted on the basis of personal taste or subjective dissatisfaction with the editing style.

12. ACCESSORIES & THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
Accessories provided by Paris Media (such as balloons, picnic sets, or similar) are offered as a courtesy or optional add-ons. While every effort is made to ensure they are in good condition, Paris Media cannot be held responsible for any defects, damage, or loss occurring before or during the session. In the event of loss or damage caused by the client, replacement costs may apply.
Third-party services (such as dress rentals, makeup artists, hair stylists, decorators, florists, musicians, etc.) recommended by Paris Media are provided by independent suppliers. Paris Media is not responsible for their performance, pricing, punctuality, or quality of service. Any arrangements, payments, or claims related to these services must be made directly with the supplier.
Paris Media is not responsible for any visual imperfections resulting from items or services provided by the client or third parties, including but not limited to makeup, wardrobe, or accessories.

13. ACCEPTANCE & MODIFICATIONS
These Terms & Conditions may be updated at any time without prior notice.
By booking a session, the client confirms they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.

14. GOVERNING LAW & JURISDICTION
These Terms & Conditions and any dispute arising from them are governed exclusively by French law. The Paris Commercial Court shall have sole and exclusive jurisdiction over any legal proceedings related to the services provided by Paris Media.
